    Shipping Rates and Methods

    Shipping fees are based on the parcel's weight, the destination, and the time frame in which you require your merchandise. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels.

    When will I get my order?
    For items that we ship from our warehouse; our average processing time for custom orders is 14-21 business days and for standard orders the average processing time is 2-3 business days. Therefore to get an accurate idea of the total delivery time for your order, take note of this simple equation:

    PROCESSING TIME + SHIPPING TIME = DELIVERY TIME

    Please note: this calculation includes business days only, unless otherwise specified.

    Methods

    We ship using a variety of different carriers. We do this to utilize the most efficient and economical method of transport for your goods. Helmetnation.com will ship all orders at the best possible means to arrive at your location. We may modify your selected shipping method to an alternative method (from UPS to USPS or USPS to UPS). The preferred carriers that we currently use include:

    • UPS, for most packages.
    • Fed-Ex, for some factory direct shipments
    • USPS, for some packages less then 5 lbs.
    • UPS Freight, for later items or orders

    Expedited Shipping

    Many items are available with expedited shipping methods allowing for faster delivery.
    Any available expedited options as well as standard options will be displayed on the shipping page during the checkout process. If you select an expedited shipping method, please be aware that orders are processed based on the item processing time from receipt of your order.  The day of shipment does not count as the first business day. Business days are considered Monday -- Friday, excluding national holidays.

    Standard Shipping

    Orders with items shipped from helmetnatinon.com will be processed (pending credit card approval) in 2-3 business days (see UPS Exclusions below).  If there is a special going on; orders shipped for free will ship once all items are in stock.  Customers can expect to receive their order 1-5 business days after the order was placed.  Factory shipped items will be processed (pending credit card approval) according to item availability listed on the site.  Customer can expect to receive their packages 1-5 business days from the last possible day on the availability.

    UPS 3-Day Select

    Three-Day Select direct-shipped orders will be processed (pending credit card approval) in 0-2 business days.  Customers can expect delivery 3 business days after the order is processed (see UPS Exclusions below). Factory shipped items will be processed (pending credit card approval) according to item availability listed on site.  Customer can expect to receive their packages 1-5 business days from the last possible day on the availability.

    UPS 2nd Day Air


    2nd-Day Air direct-shipped orders will be processed (pending credit card approval) in 0-2 business days.  Customers can expect delivery 2 business days after the order is processed (see UPS Exclusions below) Factory shipped Items will be processed (pending credit card approval) according to item availability listed on site.  Customer can expect to receive their packages 1-5 business days from the last possible day on the availability.

    UPS Next Day Air

    We can begin delivery on overnight orders quicker and later than most online services. Upgrading to Next Day Air does not mean you will get your order on the Next Day.  Just call before 4 p.m. MST, and in most cases, we will ship your order that same day (pending credit card approval) for delivery by 5:00 PM the following business day (see UPS Exclusions below).  Factory shipped items will be processed (pending credit card approval) according to item availability listed on site.  Customer can expect to receive their packages 1-5 business days from the last possible day on the availability.
    Exclusions. The UPS Service Guarantee does not apply to:
     
    • a. UPS 2nd Day Air A.M. packages for residential deliveries.
    • b. Packages subject to a Large Package Surcharge or Additional Handling Fee, packages that exceed maximum size or weight limits, or to shipments containing any package subject to a Large Package Surcharge, Additional Handling Fee, or that exceed maximum size or weight limits.
    • c. Packages subject to a Delivery Intercept or Delivery Change Request.
    • d. Packages that are delayed due to causes beyond UPS's control, including but not limited to, the following: the unavailability or refusal of a person to accept delivery of the shipment; acts of God; acts of public authorities acting with actual or apparent authority; acts or omissions of customs or similar authorities; insufficient information provided by a customer; riots, strikes or other labor disputes; civil unrest; or other labor disputes; civil unrest; disruptions in air or ground transportation networks; and natural disasters.
    • e. UPS Ground shipments or UPS Standard shipments that are picked up or scheduled to be delivered during the fourteen calendar days before December 25.
    • f. Air Services shipments that are picked up in the United States and Puerto Rico on December 21 through December 2 

    Free Shipping

    Free shipping is only available on occasion as a special offer at different times for business purposes.  

    Refunds on Shipping Charges


    If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong order, or if you received a damaged product; we will refund shipping charges to your credit card. For shipping charge refunds you must provide the original order number.

    Partial Shipments

    Orders with multiple items are shipped in multiple packages.  In this instance items will ship from more than one shipping facility.  You will receive notifications when this occurs.  If an expedited shipping choice is made, all items available for immediate shipment will process in that manner.  Although multiple packages are being shipped, you will only incur one shipping charge.

    Lost Packages, Missing Products, and Courier Claims

    On the rare occasion that a package is lost in transit, either by United States Postal Service (USPS) or UPS, we reserve the right to wait up to 30 days from the inquiry or trace date to determine if the package is actually lost. You must report a lost package to our customer service dept within 5 business days of expected delivery so we can open a claim or ship the missing items. Helmetnation.com will reship or issue store credit on all lost packages and missing products. We are unable to issue refunds on lost packages, damaged packages, or missing products. Please ensure that all contents included in the shipment, as well as all packaging, and weighbills are all saved and in tact for the courier to complete their inspection. Without these items the courier may not proceed with the claim and in this event helmetnation.com will not be held responsible. Please ensure that you keep these items and do not discard of them.
